I have had one serious girlfriend in my lifetime. I am 23 and just graduated from college and I broke up with my girlfriend during Junior year of college. I haven’t had once since.
Do I need to change my personality or something? I can be a little shy at times. I don’t think I’m bad looking and in fact I have been working out intensely over the summer to hopefully aid my process in finding a relationship.
We took things nice and slowly. It was better not to talk about our past relationships but to move forward one day at a time. He had been married once before and I had never been married so both of us had to learn to trust again. My advice on dating would be:
Never take each other for granted, don’t try to change a person into someone they aren’t, talk things through as calmly and rationally as possible, don’t rush into intimacy, be supportive of each other, never fight in public, learn to trust and support each other, never be too proud to admit you’ve made a mistake or to say “I’m sorry,” treat the other person with respect, remember to praise the other person, don’t give the other person any reason to doubt you, let that person know how much they mean to you, don’t be a jealous person, make sure you both agree on what you want before you take any big leaps, and always try to take a united stand in front of parents or children.
So far, the above things have worked for us. We dated a little over two years before we got married and we’re two months shy of celebrating 27 years of marriage. We have raised my husband’s two children who are now grown, we have two grandchildren, and we have one son together who is about to turn 17 and is a Jr. in high school. A relationship is what two people put into it and it’s hard work. But it’s totally worth all the effort if you are meant to be together.
Alright im not the hottest guy at school and im not ripped but i got some decent biceps. Second Fastest runner in my school. And Ive asked out four girls in past two years and not one yes. Ive never had a girlfriend. And I just feel like girls dont like me. But i need some help to get a girlfriend plz!!! :’(

There’s this boy I really do like-no joke. I don’t know if staring is a hint that he likes me but he always leans towards me when I’m talking during bio class. There’s this other girl that sits at my table with him but he pays no attention to her at all. He just keeps looking at me and smiles when I look at him.

well actually it is something my grandmother says- and my mom as well- from like age 13 and up to me, their girl, that most guys are liars and cheaters and all they want is to get in a girl’s pants and they will tell her anything to get in her pants, and it is better to not date and wait around on guys and to focus on your school work! because these young boys will give you an std or get you pregnant, and they don’t care. they won’t take care of the child.
