How to get a girlfriend

I had dated a guy last summer, it went well but i never really called him or tried to hard with him, he would do all of the work (call and text). I really wasn’t too serious about him, so I broke up with him (i heard he cried). So we have been talking again, and he said we should give it a second chance and we hooked up the other night. Yet, he only texts me occasionally during the day and doesn’t really call me. I dont know if i should do my usual and just not call him, unless he calls me or if i should show an effort?? I also wonder if hes really interested in me??

Ok, im 17 and kind of like this girl at my high school. The thing is we dont know each other really well, though we have been hanging out the past few weekends because we have the same friends. Anyways, should i ask her on a date or just to hang out or something to get to know her? i mean this seems obvious, how else would i get to know her, but would it seem weird and kinda out of nowhere? i told her friends that i kind of like her and stuff, and then told me that she is interested to, but that we didnt really know each other. what do i do?!? help!?! thanks

I met him about a month ago and he was very straighfoward about me being attractive. It wasn’t until last week that we started texting each other, and we’ve been flirting with each other… he implied he wanted to go out on a date and I asked him if he was asking me out on a date and he said yes. We stablished the fact that we are attracted to each other, but have not set a date. I like the guy, but I am afraid to show him that I am extremely interested in him, how do I keep him from losing interest in me?

My girlfriend loves getting tattoos. Whenever she has enough money she gets one. Her parents don’t like them at all and get wicked pissed when she gets them. She just got done with her first semester at college and did bad (0.5 GPA), and still hasn’t told her parents. I know they’re going to freak because her family is really into academics (fathers a professor at an ivy league school, brother graduated from one of the best universities in the world).
I’m fine with her getting tattoos, and told her I’d go with her when she got it. I just don’t think now is the right time. If she waited until she got on better terms with her parents I think it would be a better. She already made an appointment but it’s not for week. Is there anyway I could get her to hold off on getting her tattoo for a little longer?
Also, she’s getting a half sleeve but all the good artists at the shop were book for a couple of months, so isn’t even getting it from a well experienced artist.

So, i been seeing this guy for a while…on the first two date he was such a gentlemen and he never made the move to kiss me. He was so shy, and standoffish too. but, yesterday he wanted to go out again i said ok.
We went to go eat and things were going great..so much better of than the first two dates. WE were laughing and he kept touching my hand across the table, and he grab my knee under neath the table LOL. He even spoon fed me his pancake =) Afterwards, we went to twatch the movie, The Haunting in Connecticut.
He paid for tickets, and he even got me candy cause he know much i enjoy it. in the beginning of the movie, he kept trying to scare me, and kept laughing cause i was getting scared, so then i lean my head on his shoulder, and he lean his head back on me, and then he grab my hand and started playing with my nail. So we were like that til the end of the movie. Then he put 3 gummy worm in his mouth and said “help, i have too many”, so i lean in and grab and our lips touch for a minute.
So were leaving the movie, and he put his arms around me, and were walking to the car and he kisses my forehead, and then picks me up and carrys me to the car. On the ride back home, he suddenly grab my hand, and were holding hands for a while. he touches my face, and take the hair off my face too.
But then when we got to the house, he looked like he wanted to kiss me but he didn’t, so i was the one who leaned in and kiss him. it was just for a sec, and then i went in.So, what im wondering, is if an im wrong to make the move to kiss him??? i thought he was into me, since he was being affectionate and all, but maybe he wasn’t since he did not make the move. Is he really into me ordo guys do that and is just playing around? Do guys do that often?

I was against this idea for a very long time until I met him. I realized that he’s a real nice, sincere and genuine guy. His ex cheated on him and he has a 3 yr old daughter with her whom he hardly see. We’ve known each other for almost a year now. I learned a lot of life lessons since I’ve known him. I also had a glimpse into his soul and have this deep knowing that he is the one.
For those who has or is dating someone going through a divorce, what are your challenges? If you could do it all over again, would you date someone who is going through a divorce? What very important lessons have you learned and how has it transformed your life? What helpful advice would you share to those who are new in dating someone who is divorced/going through a divorce?
Do men going through a divorce eventually starts believing in serious relationships and a second chance for a happy marriage again eventually? What advice could you share. Thanks.

I met this girl at a bar and she was an ex girlfriend of a friend i barely knew in high school. She gave me her number and said we can start out as friend and then see what happens. I asked her if this is a bit weird since I used to know your ex i don’t want to put you in an uncomfortable spot. She said it’s fine I wouldn’t be giving you my number if i felt weird about it. So I have called her up about 2 times maybe in the last 2 weeks and I have asked her we should do something sometime but I never set anything up for sure. The last time I called I asked her waht she was doing over the weekend she said she had no plans..so i asked we should do something she said it was fine but to call her tomorrow so we can set it up. I don’t get this what difference does it make from today to tomorrow. Is this a way of saying leave me alone or could this be because I am not giving her a date and time just kind of saying we should do something? I am not sure I am getting mixed signals..please Help!
