How to get a girlfriend

I really like this girl. We went to the movies recently and I paid for her ticket. So over the weekend she’s going abroad and she told me she’d message me.
And her message said “I will miss u”. It’s driving me crazy thinking - help, how do I make her like me more? Or fall for me. I really really like her and I don’t want her to think I’m freaky (By telling her I like her - so cliched) And it’s different because I’m a girl too. Btw I’m the more butch kind I guess. Usually it’s supposed to be me making the first move get what i mean?

I would like advice about dating a guy with diabetes type 1,
do you think is so bad? he told me that sometimes he is so sick that he has to go to the hospital and be there for a few days…:+(
He is a single guy 48 years old, he seems a very nice guy, honest, respectful but he told me too that he never married because sometimes ha had some kind of problems in his relationship cause of the diabetes..hmmm what do you think??
I like him but i’m not sure what i should do?? by the way I’m 35 years old..he said that he is too old for me but ages is not important to me…
I met with him just 2 times…

I am a young divorced mother and just starting to put myself back out there, dating wise. At my last optometrist appointment I felt like I really clicked with my optometrist. He is a divorced dad and I left wanting to talk to him more. There is a significant age difference, thirteen years which, paired with that he is my eye doctor, makes me nervous to attempt to pursue anything. I’ve been out of the dating world for a while. Any advice?
Also, what do you believe is an acceptable age difference when dating and why? I have mixed feelings about it. My ex-husband is eight years my elder and that did not work out but the age difference was not the reasons for our failed marriage. I have always gravitated towards older men, finding most men my age not quite at the same level of maturity. Also, being a mother my son’s best intersts come first and the majority of men I meet are not ready to take on the responsibility of parenting.

so i have this guy friend. we’ve been friends for 3-4 years now. hes always been a good friend to me, giving me advice & standing up for me when my ex bf wouldn’t. we’ve actually even dated before, for about a month or two, about 2 years ago. when i dated him back then though it felt a little weird, i think because we were such good friends. he liked me a lot though.
well we still hang out, still friends. the other night i was at his house drinking with some friends and one thing lead to another and we almost had sex. we would have if he had a condom. anyways i think i might like him more than a friend, but im not sure. hes not really someone i can see myself with. im just so confused right now. this may be a stupid question for a 22 yr old to ask haha, but i just need some sort of advice! its tough dating a friend too because of the risk of losing them. i just dont know. help.!

I’m making an assumption I’ll likely connect with another person that’s divorced, right? Quite frankly I’m terrified about dating, starting over again etc….Perhaps I’m looking for words of wisdom from other divorcees. Is there still a “stigma” attached when you tell someone you’re divorced?

I love my boyfriend and want our relationship to get stronger, but sometimes I don’t understand where he’s coming from when we talk about a problem. His parents divorced when he was young, and he makes jokes about how I have a perfect family (yeah right) and couldn’t understand because my parents are still together. How do I get him to trust me and talk about what’s freaking him out? Is there any way to help him so that our relationship isn’t affected so much by his parents’ past?
