You say that many of the men you meet are not ready to take on the responsibility of parenting. Well, perhaps this eye doctor is a good idea. First of all, he has a great job, so financial troubles (the #1 destroyer of marages) wont get in your way, second of all he already has a child, so he most likely wont be bothered by the fact that you have a son, and if your looking for maturity, a doctor 13 years your elder should meet all of your qualifications. you never know how itsreally going to work out, and you should just see how it goes. now for your son... depending on your sons age, this might be a little difficult. if your son doesn't like him, and your son is your best intrest, it might not work out so well. but most children are apposed to their mothers dating after a divorice, but you cant let that be an immidiant turn off, let your son get used to him before you make any quick desisions.
