    Just because she has a kid doesn’t mean you will always be last. I realized that my sone will grow up and move on one day. My husband will be with me forever. I love my son, but he isn’t my whole world. My husband is. It’s a different kind of love!

    He comes first, always.
    Its not always easy to find a sitter, include him when you can.
    Last minute dates and being spontaneous does not always work out so well!
    Kids can be trying, they need time to eat, sleep and rest - don’t plan on to much when you take him along.
    Be careful you don’t overstep your boundaries to soon. Don’t try to discipline him or be his dad. The further into the relationship these things may come but its not a walk on role.
    Always remember, its not an insta family.
    Kids can be a lot of fun!!
    Basically just be understanding, moms are busy and tired!

    A stepchild can help make a marriage work or completely destroy it. How is your relationship with her son ? Is he jealous of you or does he think of you as his new daddy ? It makes a huge differance. Is there an X husband in the picture ? That can complicate things too.

    No not really it’s only a 3 year difference. Are you more concerned about her having a kid? If you can’t accept the kid then you can’t accept her. He’s comes with the package

    3 Years age diff is nothing so I’m assuming that’s not the issue.
    As for the kid, just be kind. That’s all I can say. Don’t judge her or ever hold it against her. You’ll be fine.

    I don’t think there is anything wrong with this picture. There are many single moms(including myself) that have a child and a boyfriend.
