How to get a girlfriend

One day at a football game, this girl at my school pulled me aside to tell me something. We hid away from everyone, under a tree with lights surronded us. She told me that she likes me, and I said Really, and then she kissed me. The next morning on facebook, I told my best friend, thats a girl, and she laughed and said that that girl was a whore, and to stay away from her! What should I do? I felt like we were up in the clouds when we kissed, and it felt so magical, what should i do?
