Ok, im 17 and kind of like this girl at my high school. The thing is we dont know each other really well, though we have been hanging out the past few weekends because we have the same friends. Anyways, should i ask her on a date or just to hang out or something to get to know her? i mean this seems obvious, how else would i get to know her, but would it seem weird and kinda out of nowhere? i told her friends that i kind of like her and stuff, and then told me that she is interested to, but that we didnt really know each other. what do i do?!? help!?! thanks

I would do the group thing for a little longer. I am 16 and that is how I get to know people before I ask them out. It also makes it a lot more comfortable until you know that you really like her and want to ask her out. : )

well you better get her number or her aim sn and start haveing some meanful conversations, then you really should ask her if you want to go out, it doesnt have to be a date, just something casual like the movies. create situations where you can talk more by yourselves
