Dating Advice Please Someone?
myboyfriends coming over tomorrow to meet my parents for the first time.
were having a meal together.
but what should we do? i dont want things to be awkward. should i plan anything? help would be really apreciated. xxx

Have an idea of what you want to do, but just make sure you don’t plan out your every move. You could come off as robotic, and you’ll get stuck inside your head trying to think of things.
Keep the touching to a minimum, and take deep breaths to calm yourself down.
Make sure he’s humble, make sure he doesn’t say anything about him being the protector. The dad (and brothers) want that job, and will do get pissed off if somebody mentions them hurting their daughter, or trying to do something like that.
Smile. You two like each other a whole lot. You should show it in a respectful manner. Smiles are simple, and they show you’re happy. Most of all, smile with your eyes. You should have that happy glow, and be happy to see each other.
Being “Close Friends”. Close friends is a general term. When the terms boy/girl -friend are mentioned it raises some red flags. When you say “close friends” then it is implied, and less threatening.

just be decent and nice to everyone. but most of all be yourself.
tell your boyfriend to be polite to your parents and dress nicely.
what’s there to plan? he’s already coming over for dinner. just have good conversation.
