How to get a girlfriend

Some people have been out on countless dates and even begun some relationships that would have gone somewhere but in the end, they are still currently single and wondering why. There really is no secret formula to successfully dating and getting into a loving long-term relationship but here are some tips you may not know.

The first pitfall that a lot of people fall into comes from them keeping their guard up because of some not so good things that happened before in their dating life. Just because things did not go so well with the person you dated before does not mean that it is the same fate with your new date.

Dwelling on the fact that you have been shot down before when you are on your new date will do nothing but get in the way of you opening up to this new person who might be genuinely trying everything to get to know you better.

Going too fast is another mistake that applies to guys as much as it does to women when it comes to dating. Some guys expect to be in bed with the woman at the end of the first date and some women expect to be planning a wedding at the end of a month of dating. Both are potential scare offs for healthy long term relationships.

Moving too fast is simply interpreted like you are in desperate need of something and this may not be your date’s idea of a good relationship. Learn to control your eagerness.

Another mistake which applies to both men and women is the issue of talking to your date about your past relationship. Sure there is no problem of mentioning what may have happened in the past but dwelling upon it is sure to destroy your present.

The next one is not so much of an error but more of an emission; failing to notice the wrong things about your date. When you don’t see the telltale signs that warn you about the person you are about to get into a relationship with then you might be in for a big fall.

For example if they are tremendously late for the date and do not even bother to give you a call to announce why with a good excuse could mean that they might have bigger things on their mind than getting into a serious relationship with you at that particular moment.
