Help!!! I Don’t Know What To Do! Dating Advice??
So here’s my problem…I met this guy through my best friend a couple months ago and we’ve been flirting and he told me he really cares about me and that he really likes me. He’s so amazing and I really like him too. My parents met him and my mom is giving me all this trouble and telling me that she doesn’t want me seeing him, talking to him, and she definitley doesn’t want me dating him. She thinks that every guy is the same and that he’s gonna screw me over so she won’t let me date. I think it’s really unfair because I’m 18 years old and i should be able to date by now. I tried talking to her about it multiple times but she won’t change her mind. Do you think there is anything I can do or say to make her change her mind about him and about letting me date him? I really care about him and I don’t want to stop seeing him. What should I do???

If your mom says no then there is something wrong with him. Probably not anything at all. Thats the problem you are young and you will fall for him. Bring him over more and let him get to know your parents without starting anything physical. Be honest about everything and your mom will see you really like him.

You are 18, it is time you live your life the way you want to. Your mom can’t control you, your entire life. Do you really want to miss out on love and happiness because your mom has been hurt by it. Tell your mom she shouldn’t protect you from getting her hurt from love because she was.

why can’t you date you are 18 she has been blessed that you have waited this long. tell her that you want to date this guy and you really like him i know she wants the best for you. but somethings you have to do own your own and i think dating is one of them.GOOD LUCK
