How To Avoid Weight Gain For Your Wedding
If a bride tells you that she’s not worried about fitting into her wedding dress, then she is probably lying. While the stress of planning a wedding can cause a lot of women to forget about eating, others find comfort in nibbling a little more or can’t find time to exercise.
A wedding dress that needs to be taken out rather than in at the final fitting would then be the result. As you know, every bride fears this.
When keeping your dress
When it comes to staying in shape, you need to think of a few things before weighing yourself constantly. During this time, your number one concern should be your health. You need to make sure that your body is able to handle it well since you are under a lot of pressure.
What you may want to do is to figure out how you can incorporate exercise into your life. You may laugh and wonder where you will ever find the time but still, it’s essential that you know you should. It could only be for fifteen minutes a day, but still you need to walk, bike, run, etc.
Stress resistance is created by exercise. You’ve heard the expression of blowing off steam by going out for a run, well it works. Not only are you creating a great distraction for your body and mind, but you’re also strengthening your body for any added pressure.
Then again, it’s always nice to burn those calories away.
Watch the nibbles
The quickest way to gain weight is by mindlessly nibbling. And even though you don’t have the time to prepare the healthiest of meals, you may want to consider healthier choices. Finding salads with low-fat dressing is good, but overall, they’re not very filling. As long as the burger is not the biggest one on the menu, then you can even get one at the drive-thru. The plain hamburger and a salad is a quick and filling meal and that’s what you should choose.
You will want to watch the sweets for a while. Eating sweets can cause you to want to eat more and right now, that’s the last thing you want.
You will want to be honest about what you can wear when you’re having your fittings for your wedding dress. If you’re a size 10, then your body is not going to magically shrink to accommodate you if you want to be able to wear a size six dress. Be realistic about what you’re going to be able to wear and tell the person who is altering the dress if something is too tight.
You don’t want to be an uncomfortable bride now, do you?
