Do whatever you think is right. Don’t kid yourself though, if he’s already lied once he may do it again.
You may need to wait while he ties up loose end with his current girlfriend.

sounded like a great guy until you mentioned “using her”. remember, if he could do that to her, he could do that to you too. because you’ve met him online, and don’t know him well in context of his life, school etc, you should be careful about him. if he liked you enough, he could’ve just send you an email or SOMETHING during that whole week he was ‘grounded’.
i guess you can take a chance with him, but if he starts being flaking and pulling excuses again, drop him!
just remember, if he did it once, he could do it twice - or more.

That’s not right. You should stop dating him. I know he may use pretty words and huge apologies to make you feel like he’s REALLY sorry, but it’s most likely fake. Even if he likes you a lot, he shouldn’t have been cheating on you no matter what. And if he did it once, he could do it again. The choice is yours, but be prepared, because there’s a possibility you could get really hurt. I don’t mean to put you down, or sound hateful toward him, I just care and from what it sounds like, he’s not the one.
