My Older Sister Found Out That I’m Dating! Need Advice!?
My older sister found out I’m dating and says that it’s ”really not okay”.(she said this several times)
I’m 14 and she says that ”even when I’m 16 it won’t be okay so why would it be ok at 14?” I think she may be a bit exagerating. 16?!?!
I’m not sure what to do. I’m mature and smart, I know how to say no to things. She found out that I’m also kissing and asked me ”where do you think this is going to lead?”. She asked me if my mom knows and I’m pretty sure she’s going to talk to her about it. I’m afraid that my mom won’t let me go out alone with the guy I’m dating anymore.
I don’t know what to do!

Tell your sister to get over it. You’re 14 of course you are old enough to date! Make sure you explain in a mature way so they don’t get the wrong idea and let them know all of your intentions and offer that they meet the boy. If portray yourself as mature while you are explaining all of it then there should be no reason why you can’t date at your age.
