Pleeease Help!!!!!! Need Dating Advice.?
I just started dating someone who I have known for over two years through work. He is a programming contractor where I used to work. When he heard me no longer work there, he asked me out for a date. At the end of the first date, he gave me a hug and tried to kiss me, but I turned my head away since I wasn’t ready for a kiss yet. He said he had waited for two years. The next day, he asked me out for lunch before he headed back home (he lives 2-1/2 hrs. away). At the end of the lunch, he told me until he got his first kiss, he is keeping his match.com profile. I liked him and was attracted to him, but now I felt he is kind of pushy and tried to rush things when I want to take my time since I just left my ex-boyfriend of 10 months because he was a total liar. I will be seeing him again soon, the 3rd date, what should I do if he try to kiss me again, which I’m sure he will. I don’t want to ruin the chance with him, but then I wasn’t ready for the kiss. Pushy personality is kind of a turn-off for me. Please advise.

Tell him that you aren’t ready. If he can wait 2 years, he can wait a little while longer. Especially if it’s only the 2nd or 3rd date! That really is rushing it: I mean seriously! 10 months is a long time to get connected and it can be hard to let go of. If he knows this, then he’s just being a jerk.

YOUR NOT READY TO DATE !!! Plain and simple. No ifs ands or buts
Wait till your ready to get serious again. And not all men are created
equal contrary to belief. P.S. Maybe that long drive made him weak?
In the head that is.

you do what you feel is right. maybe he just wants to make sure it’s official with ya before he completely closes his account. i say see where it goes & until you know for sure ya are official, dont bring it up & tell him not to try to push you with that…

“At the end of the lunch, he told me until he got his first kiss, he is keeping his match.com profile.” <—???? Definitely pushy! A bad way to start. I wouldn’t give him the third date.

If you still like him, then kiss him, fi you don’t, then don’t go with him any more, you might break his heart.

I would say to go ahead and kiss him, but just a tiny peck on the lips.
