Single Mum Dating Someone Without Kids, Any Advice?
My boys have met him but I said he’s a friend, we just went to the pub for a drink and my boys ran around.
Question is, if this goes further and turns into a relationship, then how do I sort of integrate someone who doesn’t have kids into the family?
I think he is kind of scared around children from what I gather, almost like he is unsure what to do with them.
Any advice?

i have also been in this position, and you can never really put a timescale on things like this, my partner has now built up confidence with my daughter as she has with him, he makes the effort to do stuff with us as a family, ie trips to the beach or even just staying in with a dvd of her choosing(always the same dvd lol)

personally i think if hes only just met your kids, and he hasnt got any of his own hes bound to be scared and uncomfortable about how to be with them because he doesnt know them well enough to be close to them?

the kids will integrate him just let things take a natural course and they will accept him in the meantime give him plenty of humping a short holiday would help

I can relate to that. I’m a guy with no kids dating a divorcee - and not sure how to handle the kids myself. I’m watching this with interest.
