Spectacular Eternity Wedding Jewelry for Everybody

Saturday, 4 June, 2011

The eternity ring gets its name because it combines two of the most meaningful pieces of eternal love symbolism surrounding the wedding ring. The first, that the circle of circle symbolizes eternity because it has no beginning and no end, and the second, the idea that diamonds are forever, meet to result in these rings, formed by a full curcle of diamonds or other gems in the setting of your choice.

Caring for eternity rings can be done at home to a degree– most jewelry benefits from a simple soap and water rinse now and then, but to remove heavy dirt and oil buildup or tarnish, you should take your eternity rings to a jeweler for safe, proper maintenance.

Along with the classic all-diamond styles, eternity rings can also be found or created in a number of different metals and precious stone combinations, so if your dream ring has princess cut blue sapphires alternating with diamonds in a rose gold channel setting, this once difficult request can likely be met through an online retailer.

Eternity bands are easy to care for when it comes to everyday upkeep– most buildup caused by oil and dirt from skin, cosmetics, and one’s environment can be removed by washing your eternity rings in warm water with liquid soap and a soft cloth. But if your jewelry seems to need a more thorough cleaning, take it to a jeweler where it will be professionally cleaned with methods that won’t damage it.

If diamonds aren’t your style, or you like them but want a bit more color in your eternity bands, you won’t be left out! Many jewelers now stock and custom make eternity rings with rubies, emeralds, black diamonds, and blue, yellow, or pink sapphires.

The platinum princess cut diamond eternity bands experts at DeBebians.com provide beauty and elegance at great prices. Of special note are the stylish eternity band black diamonds designs available!. This article, Spectacular Eternity Wedding Jewelry for Everybody has free reprint rights.

Historical Inspiration for Modern Anniversaries

Wednesday, 30 March, 2011

Finding the perfect anniversary gift can be quite the challenge, particularly if the anniversary celebration you’re planning centers on one of the more notable milestone years. If you’re at a loss in determining which gift or activity might be best, it can be helpful to look the the past and find ways to modernize the traditional anniversary gifts and themes to make them your own.

The ten-year anniversary is known as the “diamond” anniversary”, which makes diamond jewelry an even better gift idea than usual.

The 5 year anniversary, the first milestone anniversary after your first, is another occasion for which a diamond ring would be particularly well received due to the growing popularity of five-stone diamond rings given to signify each year of marriage.

There are also flowers, colors, and gemstones traditionally associated with each anniversary that can inform your choices. For the 5 year anniversary, these are pink, daisies, and sapphires, so a five stone ring with a yellow center diamond or an eternity band with white diamonds and pink or yellow sapphires would be well received. The ten-year symbols, besides diamonds, are daffodils and the color blue. This is another case in which colored gemstones like blue or yellow sapphires can be a thoughtful addition to an elegant piece of jewelry.

Setting the right scene to unveil your ten or five year anniversary gift also plays a role. Wine, especially port, has a history in anniversary symbolism, as does mead, so dinner or tapas paired with one of these will set a perfect romantic mood.

In the end, of course, it doesn’t matter how traditional or trendy your gifts and celebrations are; if your jewelry and other gifts are chosen with love and attention to detail, your anniversary will be as joyful as your wedding day.

When the time has come to buy your 5 year anniversary gift, visit deBebians or give them a call for assistance with getting the best your 5 year anniversary gift for your money!. This article, Historical Inspiration for Modern Anniversaries is available for free reprint.

Short Quick Excerpts Of Wedding And Proposal Stories Part 2

Saturday, 14 August, 2010

On the morning of March 7, in Bali, I had my suspicions that he might propose but kept it to myself … how stupid would I have felt if he didn’t? Late in the afternoon, he took me and the box down to the beach and asked me to marry him. Although I had suspected it, his proposal was so overwhelming I can’t remember a word he said, which annoys me…. but it did make me cry!

A simple civil ceremony was held amongst the sand dunes at the Main Beach Lakes Entrance in near perfect weather with a backdrop of the front lake and the blue sea. The aisle was lined with eight white bali flags streaming in the light breeze and rose petals scattered on the sand. I was so excited walking down the aisle with my Dad by my side to the song ‘At Last’ by Etta James. As soon as I saw Stephen I couldn’t keep my eyes off him for the entire ceremony, everything else was a blur.

The ceremony was so romantic and gorgeous. We married at the Albert Street Uniting Church in Brisbane City. It was short and simple ceremony which is what we wanted. My bridal party and I walked down the aisle to the organ playing Cannon in D for the Bridesmaids, and the Bridal March for myself. My dad was so emotional as we were walking down the aisle, it was very unexpected as I had never seen my dad cry before so it was a truly beautiful moment. I will treasure it always.

So when we decided on a 70’s theme I knew straight away I had to try to get this dress. The website I saw it on was an American one so I called New York with the hope that they could send me the dress and I could get it altered to fit here. New York put me onto a place in Berkshire, England who put me in touch with their representative in Brisbane, Australia, called ‘Sugar & Spice’.

Phil and I met online through an internet chat program. We were friends for many years and then met on my 21st birthday. When we met we knew that there was something more than “just friends” between us, so we decided to visit each other on a regular basis both in Townsville and Sydney for approximately another year. We then moved half way to Brisbane to be with one another. Six years later Phil proposed to me while dining at Pier Nine restaurant in the Brisbane CBD. It was funny, because even though we had known each other for more than seven years, we were both as nervous and excited as anything that night!

One of the more challenging things to organise was family - because they have a mind and will of their own! Everyone had different expectations and as they all live 80km from where we live, there were initial issues about us not having the wedding where they live, but we overcame this by gentle persuasion (and the fact that the international airport -where our overseas friends were landing- was 10km from where we had the reception!)

These stories can be read at by visiting truebride.com.au. And, if there’s a wedding coming up for you, Wendy Stoller would like to take this time to invite you to visit her site for Examples of Wedding Speeches.

What Should My Girlfriend And I Do For Our 1 Year Anniversary?

Wednesday, 30 December, 2009

Me and my girlfriend’s one year anniversary is on friday. I bought her a nice ring and we are planning on going to dinner. I’m taking her to the place we had our first date.
What should I do the rest of the day? She said she wants to spend time with me, she doesn’t want a big hoopla. Nothing sexual or overnight, please.
