Mistakes Women Make With Men

Saturday, 14 August, 2010

What kind of mistakes do women make with men? In fairness to women, most “mistakes” are actually a matter of misunderstanding between how differently men and women communicate and interpret between the sexes. A woman might be dating a man she really likes and thinks everything is going great and then suddenly he breaks up with her for no apparent reason. While there is a lot of dating advice for women out there, I’d like to suggest just a couple of tips to be aware of. If you’re guilty of this behavior, then you may want to tone it down a little or else you may be breaking up sooner than you think!

1. Calling/Texting/Emailing Too Often

While it’s a lot easier to keep tabs on your guy these days with cell phones and email, many women overdo it. However, although you may love texting him 20 times per day and following it up with an email if he doesn’t text you back right away, you may be doing your relationship more harm than good. Texting is convenient but it can also become annoying to a guy. When you’re in the first phase of loved up coupledom, your guy may be into constant calls, texts and emails as much as you are.

But after a while, the first rush of new love starts to wear off and instead of your constant calls and emails being endearing, they may start to become a little annoying. So here’s some dating advice for women: if you’re guilty of calling, texting or emailing him multiple times per day, why not tone it down a little? It may just make your guy a little more enthusiastic about calling or emailing you back!

2. Being Too Clingy

It’s great that you enjoy spending time with your boyfriend, but sometimes you’re not just spending time with him, but being needy instead. If you don’t want to do anything by yourself or spend time with your friends because you’d rather be with him all day, then he’ll likely feel that you want him to provide for you emotionally in a way that he isn’t capable of. It’s normal for couples to want to spend a lot of time together, especially in the early stages of a relationship where everything is fresh and new, but after a while, every man needs to see that the woman he loves has the ability to maintain and create other relationships that can be fulfilling.

So if you find yourself complaining because he wants to spend time alone or hang out with his friends, try to stop. Instead remember this dating advice: use this time apart for a little “me time” for yourself. If you spend some time apart, you’ll have lots to share the next time you see each other.

Wait! Don’t cause the mistakes with men that cause them to leave. You can learn how to avoid these mistakes simply by viewing this Special Report.
