My boys have met him but I said he’s a friend, we just went to the pub for a drink and my boys ran around.
Question is, if this goes further and turns into a relationship, then how do I sort of integrate someone who doesn’t have kids into the family?
I think he is kind of scared around children from what I gather, almost like he is unsure what to do with them.
Any advice?

OK is there anything I shouldn’t do or say that might offend her? She has a five year old boy and the dad left when he was two. If you’re a 20-25 year old mother (single or married or whatever) can you give me some advice?
How do you tell guys in a nice way that you don’t want to date them? I recently became single and now I am getting asked out all the time, like these guys were just waiting for this oppurtunity. I’ve never had to turn a guy down and am not sure what to tell them when they ask me to hang out or go on a date. Advice..please.

About a year ago I ended a 4 year long relationship with a horrible man. Cheated on me, was drunk all the time, emotionally and sometimes physically abusive… And so I began my life as a single girl.
I met some people, dated my fair share… and yet… I can’t seem to get anything to last longer than 3-4 months at the most.
For the most part it is me having freak-outs about where I am going in life, and is this the right person, and on and on and on… am I normal? is it too soon for me to be dating? Does anyone have any advice at all?

I was wondering. I mean…I lvoe my kids to death and they are 1st in my life no matter what. But it seems like it has put a hole in my dating life. Yes, I would listen to her advice, but I would only follow it if I wanted to still be single at 38! (Which probably wouldn’t be all that bad, come to think of it.) Maybe you should use her advice as a guide to what NOT to do.
I have started seeing a good friend who is a single mom. We live long distance from each other an hour apart. I want to have a serious relationship with her. She has a 3 yr old son. She was divorced a year or so ago because her ex husband cheated on her. She is afraid to be in a relationship. What is a good way to show her that I am not going to hurt her and that I will never cheat on her?
